ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for an ambitious person for the Accountant position to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficiency of the operations department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.

Reports to

Head of Operations

Responsibilities and Duties include
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
  • Make payments and review expenses, payroll records, GST, TDS, and PT etc. as assigned
  • Update financial data in databases and ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
  • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
  • Assist with other accounting processes required by operations
Experience required

1-2 years relevant experience

Educational qualifications
  • BCOM, MCOM, BSc in Accounting, MBA Finance.
Specific Skills
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
  • Analytical acumen
  • Excellent organizing abilities
  • Great attention to detail

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT to the Managing Director

The EA’s job will be fast-paced, with many responsibilities. It’s essential to stay organized and to manage time and workspace, provide high-level administrative support, including preparing reports, handling correspondence and scheduling meetings. The most effective skills required are in communication, organization and technology. Common sense and sound judgment with the capacity to understand the importance of teamwork. Maintaining the MD’s calendar, tracking meetings and activities and scheduling conferences and business travel. Also must prepare and organize reports, letters, presentations and other documents. When the MD has conflicting priorities, the EA will be required to balance those duties to make sure key projects meet deadlines.

Reports to

Managing Director

Responsibilities and Duties include
  • Act as the point of contact among MD, employees, clients and other external partners
  • Monitoring and reporting on projects, assignments from other staff
  • Make Daily/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reports and supervising daily reports on updates & status from other staff
  • Follow-through on instructions from the MD to other staff
  • Managing the Managing Director’s calendar
  • Scheduling and tracking meetings / activities, ensure invites go out to all attendees
  • Taking minutes of important meetings
  • Handling business travel – Flights, Hotel Bookings
  • Ensuring all equipment required by the MD is working condition
  • Liaise with Heads of depts to handle regular work and emergency situations
  • Screen incoming calls, prioritizing important calls to be returned by the MD
  • Handling correspondence
  • Prepare presentations
  • Anticipate or recognize problems, proactively sometimes and refer them immediately to the right person for resolution
  • May need to support other Executives, if required
  • Research on projects assigned
  • Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain Discretion and confidentiality
Experience required

3-5 yrs experience in a similar role

Educational qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in any stream

RISK MANAGEMENT OFFICER

We are looking for an ambitious person for the Risk Management Officer position to provide support to the Operations department by managing real time risks in the market. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficiency of the operations department and help the company be fully aware risks in the market at all times. This way the company can make the right decisions on behalf of their clients and create a well-balanced reputation in the market.

Reports to

Head of Operations

Responsibilities and Duties include
  • Manage real time risk during market hours.
  • Ensuring right exposure and leverage is given to the client according to company guidelines
  • Competent enough to co-ordinate with other dealers to manage real time risk
  • Ageing analysis of clients
  • Compliance relating to trade placement.
Experience required

2 to 5 years (Preferably Worked in Discount Brokers)
